John “Tim” Mellitz

John “Tim” Mellitz, died August 17, 2011 as a result of cardiovascular issues. Father of Daniel (Kathy Mattes) Mellitz of Long Beach, Calif., David Mellitz of St. Louis, and Guy Mellitz of Astoria, N.Y.; brother of Susan (Marc) Weiss of West Palm Beach, Flo.; step-brother of Charles (Janet) Glazer of Greenwich, Conn. and Patsy (Richard Mittenthal) Glazer of New York, N.Y.; his partner in life and business, Pat Nemish of St. Louis. Born December 14, 1941, one week after Pearl Harbor, he was a graduate of Country Day (MICDS) and Washington University Law School and was active in the Missouri Bar Association. He practiced law with Lowenhaupt & Chasnoff before forming his own legal technology consulting firm, Mellitz & Associates. His interests included the arts, music, and travel.
