Joan R. Huber, died June 19, 2013 surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her companion, Bill Chamberlin; sons, Bob and Jim Arnold; daughters-in-law, Julie Pearson, Krista Macari, and Nancy Levine; seven step-children, Beth Boyd, Bruce Williams, Brian Williams, Brent Williams, Steve and Caroline Chamberlin, Kathleen Mahaffy, and Sharon Rundle; and sixteen grandchildren, Samuel, Brandon, Kirsten, Justin, Stephanie, Kevin, Ethan, Clark, Jason, Meaghan, Craig, Claire, Rachel, Adam, Paul, and Shalom. Another son, Larry Michael Arnold, and her older brother, Alan L. Gleitsman, are deceased. Joan was born August 10, 1935 in Great Neck, New York and was the youngest child of Lillian and Louis Gleitsman. She graduated Endicott Junior College and had a full and varied career as a survey methodologist, real estate agent, hospital volunteer, and homemaker and mother to her children A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013, at 4 p.m. at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North & South Road, University City, MO 63130. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in Joan’s name to either the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, 3450 Park Avenue, St. Louis MO 63104, or B’nai B’rith, 2 Millstone Campus, St. Louis, MO 63146.
