Beloved Husband of Jill Malen for 41 years; Dear Father and Father-in-law of Joel (Mariko) Malen, Andrew (Mary Beth) Malen, Brett (Yuka) Malen, Susan (Rory) Malen and Julie Malen; Grandfather of Leo and Tillie Walsh; Dear Brother of Judy (late Ken) Woolsey; Dear Son of the late Joel and Edna Malen; Dear Brother-in-law of Judy (Larry) Deutsch, Uncle of Ben and Bob Deutsch; Friend to many.
Jim was a man of many talents and interests. Throughout his life he enjoyed sailing, windsurfing, road trips to Florida, remodeling houses, teaching, photography, going to hockey games, hiking, camping, eating sweets, and in his younger days he loved speed skating, skiing, race car driving, gliding, flying model airplanes to name a few. We will all miss his unique and witty sense of humor, and his reliable and loving demeanor.
Graveside service Wednesday November 5, 3:30 PM at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Rd. 63017.
