Jerome “Buck” Korenfeld, died September 1, 2014, after a long struggle with diabetes, and it’s various manifestations. He was previously married to Sharron Doris Molos, with whom he had two sons. Jerome was the loving and doting father of Michael S. Korenfeld and Clifford D. Korenfeld, and his wonderful daughter-in-law, Lynn Kersting Korenfeld.  He was also the best grandpa to his four grandchildren, Samantha Nicole Korenfeld, Olivia Grace Korenfeld, Sophie Lorraine Korenfeld, and Noah Alexander Korenfeld.  His sister, Geraldine Francis, will also miss him very much.  Jerome was the beloved uncle to his sister’s child, Amy and Sharron’s brother’s children, Eric, Wendy, and Amy (Alvin Molos) and Carla and Dena (Jerry Molos). Funeral service Thursday, September 4, 11:00 AM at Rindskopf-Roth Funeral Chapel, 5216 Delmar Blvd. with interment to follow at United Hebrew Cemetery, 7855 Canton Avenue.  Visitation with the family beginning at 10:00 AM, Thursday at the funeral home until time of service.  The family will be receiving friends and family after the services at the cemetery at Brian and Amy Weinstock’s home, starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM.  Tributes to Jerome “Buck” Korenfeld’s legacy can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
