Jerald Gers, died September 30, 2010 at the age of 63, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Beloved husband of Carol Gers; father of Todd and Amy Gers of Walled Lake, Corey Gers and Siegal Eli-Gers of Oak Park, Ill. and Brett and Alison Gers of Chicago, Ill; brother of Allan and Renee Gers of Chesterfield, Mo., Elaine and John Kreibaum of Florissant, Mo and the late Harvey Gers; brother-in-law of Susan Gers; grandfather of Jacob, Ethan, Alexander, and Emma; son-in-law of Jerry and Sue Bearman; also remembered by a loving niece, nephews, and other family members and friends. Interment was held at the Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Contributions to the American Heart Association or to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund at Temple Kol Ami or to a charity of one’s choice.
