Jeanette Cohen (nee Schear), age 90, passed away Oct. 16, 2016 in Olympia, Wash. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth P. Cohen, dear mother of Matt Cohen, Daryl (Ron) Perry and Claudia (John) Cruse, dear sister of the late Albert (Annette) Schear, the late Lory (the late Aaron) Fadem and Cheri Ann Schear, loving grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one. 

A graduate of Soldan High School and Washington University School of Art, she was a prolific artist of paintings and stitchery displayed on television and in museums. In 2002, she performed a Hawaiian hula dance as Ms. Senior Washington in the Ms. Senior America Pageant. She will be greatly missed.
