JEAN D. FISHER

JEAN D. FISHER, died October 1, 2015; quietly passed into memory at home surrounded by her loving family.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles (Chuck) Fisher; her children, Michael (Elaine) Fisher and Nancy (Scott) Trail; her grandchildren, Michael Snodgrass, Meredith Thiesfeld, Brett Trail, Dean Trail, Lucas Trail and Douglas Prokopf; great-grandchildren Ian Colley and Cole Thiesfeld and many, many friends and relatives.  Jean survived two of her children, Ellen (Chris) Kohring and Stephen Fisher.

Jean was born on February 11, 1934 in St. Louis but spent her teen years in Chicago returning to St. Louis in 1948 after the death of her father.  She graduated from Clayton HS, met her husband-to-be on a blind date and went on to Purdue University, graduating with an MRS degree.

Aside from being a great mom and wife, Jean was an avid reader, knitter, crossword puzzler, bridge player, mah jongg player and Cardinal fan.  Her greatest joy was watching her hockey Blues play—win or lose.  She has a brick on the St. Louis Blues Hall of Fame Plaza.

She will be missed.
