Jack Zuckner, M.D., died March 22, 2011; beloved husband for 63 years of the late Phyllis Saffern Zuckner; dear father of Daniel (Carol) Zuckner and Andrew (Sheila Brunner) Zuckner; dear brother of the late Rose Schneiderman, Savilla Steck and Dora Abraham; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Dr. Zuckner served in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a lieutenant, graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in 1943 and St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1947, was a professor of Clinical Medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine and the first person to become a Master with the American College of Rheumatology in the state of Missouri. He enjoyed tennis, snow skiing, gardening and traveling. Funeral service Sunday, March 27, 10:00 a.m. at New Mt. Sinai Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois Road.
