Jack Tepper

Jack Tepper, April 14, 2017
Jack is remembered foremost as a mensch and as a jokester ready with (bad) puns or stories for any occasion. His selfless service to others is legendary, yet no one person knows the extent of his many kindnesses. The only time anyone can remember him saying “no” is when asked to fly in an airplane. Jack was affectionately known as Mr. Bais Abe, a gabbai for decades, always first to arrive and last to leave. Even his gruff Korean War-era commanding officer addressed him affectionately as ”Tepp” instead of “private.” And, animals could not resist him jostling for the coziest spot by his side.
Survived by nephews, cousins, extended family which includes everyone he ever met.
