Beloved wife of the late Joseph Kohm.  Dear mother of Ruth Ellen (Kohm) (Snitzer) Brooks.  Loving grandmother of Deanna (Alex Polster) and Matthew Snitzer. Beloved daughter of the late David and Anna Wax. Loving sister and sister-in-law of the late Toby (the late Herbert) Nechemias, the late Bernice (the late Harry) Goodman, and the late Zelda (the late Herbert) Rogul. Our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. 

Irene’s family would like to give special thanks and mountains of love to Sharon Diggs, Irene’s favorite “playmate” and angelic caregiver for almost 10 years – she is truly a gift from God.

Graveside service Sunday, September 23, 2018, 2:00 PM at Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 1601 North and South Road, St. Louis, MO 63130.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Irene’s memory may be made to Missouri Botanical Garden-Commemorative Giving Program, PO Box 17419, St. Louis, MO 63178-7419, or to Forest Park Forever, 5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63112 or a charity of your choice.
