DANIEL HILECHER, died March 13, 2010. BERNARD F. HOCHMAN, died March 12, 2010 at the age of 88. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Celilia (Rosenberg) Hochman; beloved husband of Joan Meyerhardt Hochman; loving father of Janet Hochman (Chris) Ness, Jeffrey (Susan) Hochman and Jere (Josette) Hochman, Debra Reid, Richard Nuell and Gary Nuell; adoring grandfather of Jessica (Alex Threadgold) Hochman, J.B. Hochman, Benjamin Hochman and Emily Jane Hochman, Danielle Reid, Mary Ellen Villareal and Alex Nuell; treasured great-grandfather of Mirabelle Threadgold, Ella and Hadley Hochman, Christa and Jacob Resinger, dear brother of the late Shirlee Wodis; respected brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Bernie lived each day of his life to the fullest. Retirement was not a word in his vocabulary. He was living his passion as clubhouse manager of the Triple A Golf Clubhouse. BARRY ZALE KREM, died March 3, 2010. Beloved husband of Christine Mary Krem; dear father of Dr. Maxwell M. Krem, Carey and Franklin Engle; loving son of Bebe and David Krem; beloved son-in-law of the late Patricia and Budd Boyd; dear brother of Neal (Charleen) Krem; grandfather of Samuel M. Krem; our dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Barry earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in metallurgical engineering in Rolla at the Missouri University School of Mines. He also earned an MBA from Saint Louis University. After spending the first 20 years of his career working as a metallurgist in several steel manufacturing operations, he was offered the opportunity to manage daily operations of Reliable Finishing Company, a business started in 1948 by his parents and his Uncle Sam and Aunt Helen Wool. After the business closed in 2004, Barry and his wife formed a graphic design company that currently operates in Overland. Barry valued and insisted upon providing the highest level of service to each and every customer. His simple motto was; “We’re here to help.” This is the credo by which he lived and passed on to family, employees and business associates.
