Thelma May Stromfield Muskin, died August 7, 2009 at the age of 77. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Yetta Stromfeld; wife of Arthur for 55 years; daughter-in-law of the late Ben and the late Belle Muskin; mother of Harriet (Larry) Glazer and Alan (Ellen) Muskin of Austin, Tx; grandmother of Jason, Jacob and Erica Glazer and Amanda and Hilary Muskin; sister of Myra Jast and Harold (Marilyn) Stromfeld; sister-in-law of Larry (Gail) Muskin. Thelma was a breast cancer survivor of 23 years, was a big supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, participating in the Race for the Cure and was honored at “The Women’s Event” sponsored by the AMC Cancer Research Center in 1996. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband and with her best friends, Nancy and Ronnie Chod, mahjong, reading, cooking and also enjoyed Cardinals and Rams games. Sylvia Sandow, died August 7, 2009 in Granite City, Ill. Wife of John Morgan and widow of David Sandow; mother of Linda Sandow and Henry (Jodi Masters) Sandow; grandmother of Beca Sandow; sister of Lena (the late Harry) Komm and Betty (the late Sam) Tannenbaum. Mrs. Sandow was a former President of the St. Louis Furriers Guild and a member of other organizations.
