David A. Greditzer, died September 11, 2009 in Malibu, Ca. Formerly of St. Louis, husband of Lynne; father of Lindy (Lewis) Barrett of Seattle, Wash., and Jan (Les) Shenberg of St. Louis; grandfather of Rachel and Samantha Barrett. Dee, as he was known to all, was a graduate of University City High School. After serving as a medic during WWII, he returned to complete his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and his master’s degree in psychology from Washington University. He then joined the staff of the Jewish Federation as Assistant Director of the Jewish Employment and Vocational Services. Later he moved to Los Angeles, Ca. where he continued serving the Jewish community as Director of Handcraft Industries, a vocational workshop serving the physically and mentally challenged, until his retirement.
