Herbert Ribstein, June 2, 2016; beloved husband of the late Evelyn Ribstein and the late June Lewis Ribstein; dear father of Susan (Gary) Nadler; dear step-father of Sally (Bill) Burgett and Andrew (Beth) Lewis; dear grandfather off Barry Nadler, Andrew Nadler and Julie Nadler-Martin, Charlie Burgett and Claire Burgett, Rebecca McLoughlin, Emily Meyer and Margaret Lewis; dear great-grandfather of 7; dear son of the late Nathan and the late Jeanette Nudelman Ribstein; dear brother of Monica Zucker and the late Evelyn Frankel; dear friend and companion of D.J. Serkes; Herbert will be greatly missed by his caregiver Wanda Fillmore.

Herb was a kind, patient and loving gentleman to his family and friends and will always be remembered as a wonderful, sweet, witty man. He was born and raised in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and spent his career in the retail fashion industry, which surely contributed to his always being a dapper dresser, He loved his bridge and golf games as well as time spent with his many friends and family.
