Helen Lieberman Lifton, born January 4, 1922, teacher, world-traveler, theater lover and widow of her beloved Simon Lifton, died after a brief illness on December 6, 2017. Helen is survived by her daughters, Leslie Waldbaum (Lawrence) and Marcy Lifton (Neil Miller), by her grand-children Deborah Borrero (Victor), Ben Waldbaum (Chaya Bracha), Sam Waldbaum (Heinke), Gena Miller and Julia Miller and by her great grand-children Rivka Waldbaum, Esther Waldbaum, Raizel Waldbaum, Yechiel Waldbaum, Chaim Yehshua Waldbaum, Miriam Waldbaum and Alexander Waldbaum. Helen will be laid to rest in the place she always considered home, New York City. If you wish to honor Helen, please donate to a museum or educational institution of your choice.
