Harvey Frohlichstein, Jr., died August 9, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of Cynthia Kagan Frohlichstein. Dearest father of Betty Kagan, Michael (Sara) Kagan, Paprika, Patti, Tom (Rada) & Tripp (Carol) Frohlichstein. Harvey lived a life full of music, toys and games. At Mercury Records he squired around their top recording artists. He had a passion for country music and performers. He spent most of his life as a manufacturers’ sales representative for many top names in the toy industry. His customers appreciated his honesty and integrity. From a young age, Harvey became involved in sports, inheriting his gift of tennis from his father. He relished every hour on the court. At University City High he played on the football team. While serving in the Army, he also played pro ice hockey in Oregon. Competitive games factored highly – mostly bridge. He continued playing at McKnight II where he also became known as a winning bingo player. Last Valentine’s Day the facility’s staff at Extended Care elected him King of Hearts. All will miss his wry sense of humor, twinkle in his eye, smile when he made a dimple and his amazing attitude! His family thanks the compassionate staff at McKnight II Extended Care.
