Harold (Rob) W. Robinson

Harold (Rob) W. Robinson, died May 12, 2013, at age 66 surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer. Rob is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl, two children: Josh (Noelle) Robinson and Erin (Mike) Somers. Rob is the loving son of Marie Robinson and the late James Robinson. He is the dear brother of James (Louise) Robinson Jr. and Ken Robinson, and loving friend Rose Linck. Rob is also the adoring grandfather of Mackenzie Robinson. Rob was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He served his country with honor as a medic in the Vietnam War. He worked for the National Association of Letter Carriers for forty years before he retired from the post office in 2008. He was extremely active in his union as a shop steward and E.E.O. representative. He helped spearhead annual fundraising efforts for M.D.A., and he was one of the hub coordinators for the yearly N.A.L.C. food drive. Rob was a life-long and die-hard fan of Cardinals baseball, St. Louis University Billikens basketball, and all forms of soccer. Visitation will be held at the Berger Memorial Chapel this Tuesday May 14 at 10:30 am with services beginning at 11:00 am. He will interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in accordance with his final wishes. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Louis Muscular Dystrophy Association. Berger Memorial
