After college he continued playing basketball at the JCC and was on select teams that played in tournaments against other JCC’s throughout the country.

Harold was inducted into the St. Louis Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding achievements both in sports and his contributions to the community.

Harold not only loved playing tennis regularly, but his home away from home was at the JCC picking up a basketball or racquetball game with so many of his friends.

Harold met the love of his life, Elaine DeWoskin Ungar and married in 1979. They spent over 35 years together and enjoyed being at home with family, going to movies, eating BBQ, traveling, his children and his grandchildren. Family was very important to him, and he loved being together for every holiday and special occasions. He not only loved his sports, but he truly loved his friends and family.
