Harland “Vic” Kabak, August 21, 2021, After a long battle with various illnesses

Beloved husband of the late Rhoda Kabak.  Dear father of Joel (Kristi) Kabak and Marc (Sandra) Kabak. Beloved grandfather of Kimberly (Dustin) Epperson, Brad (Svetlana), Kenny, Greg, and Rachel Kabak. Beloved great grandfather to Kai and Louis.and beloved friend to many throughout the years.

Vic was an all-around great guy who would do anything for anyone. He never judged, and always wanted to help. It was also known by very few, that he provided many kind and selfless gestures to those in need, without any expectations for personal gain or acknowledgement.

Vic was the recipient of several awards and had many accomplishments including being a member of the old remodeling Guild of St. Louis and senior vice president of Northwestern and Community Federal Savings and Loan. He was also a member of the Consumer Credit Executives, sat on the board of directors of the local NORC Association in St. Louis and was a member of the Imperial Council of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine since 1973. He was also a talented musician and a founding member of “Entertainment Unlimited” 1 & 2, a 4-piece band that played events in the local area including at the Muny.  He was also fortunate enough to meet Barbara Streisand back in the days before she was such a success.

We all will always love you and cherish your memory and unbridled kindness.

Graveside service Wednesday, August 25, 10:30am at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road.  Contributions in Vic’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63110.
