Gerald Thomas Perkoff, M.D., died December 25, 2011. He was born September 22, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Nathan (the late Ann Schwartz) Perkoff; husband of by his beloved wife of 67 years, Marion Maizner Perkoff of Columbia; father of David Perkoff of Austin, Tx., Judy Perkoff Smith of Indianapolis, Ind. and Susan Perkoff Stombaugh of Seattle, Wa.; brother of Simon Perkoff of San Francisco, Calif.; grandfather of Natalie Phillips-Perkoff, Hilary Smith, Marcella Smith, Jeffrey Stombaugh, Rebecca Stombaugh. He was Professor Emeritus in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, of Columbia, Missouri. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Congregation Beth Shalom in Columbia. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery.
