Fern Weisman, age 76, of Boca Raton, Florida, died unexpectedly and of natural causes on June 12, 2018. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Doug and Margy Weisman, and their sons, Jake and Cal; twin grandsons Jeremy and Ryan Whittington of Florida; her sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Grif Haber, of Nashville, Tenn., and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Weisman, her daughter, Wendy Weisman Whittington, and her parents, Lil and Milton Kolker.

Fern was born and grew up in St. Louis, Mo.  She attended Ladue High School and University of Missouri.  She worked in the art business and had a successful career leading a team of representatives selling artwork to residential and commercial customers.  She moved her business to Boca Raton in 1978, where she resided for the next 40 years.  

A funeral service and celebration of her life will take place at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton on Tuesday June 19.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Pedal-the-Cause, a St. Louis based charity raising funds for cancer research, which took the life of her beloved daughter Wendy in 2016.
