Evelyn Reiss, died July 29, 2012 at age 94. Beloved wife of the late Marvin Reiss; dear mother and mother-in-law of A. Gerald “Jerry” (Barbara) Reiss of Naples, FL, Mark (Ginny) Reiss of Golden, CO and Elaine (Craig) Wright of Scottsdale, AZ; dear grandmother of 7; dear great-grandmother of 9. Evelyn and Marvin Reiss were the founders and proprietors of The Gravois Bootery, a landmark shoe and boot retail store located for over 43 years in south St. Louis.
