Evelyn Regina Mallin, died March 25, 2015 at age 95. Adored wife of the late Irvin Mallin. Loving mother of Dr. Charles B. (Cheryl) Mallin, Esther Claire (Henry) Lega and Sharongay (Donald) Pearline. Cherished grandmother of Rachel, Jordan (Elizabeth), and Gregory (Julie) Mallin; Adam (Kristen), David (Julia) and Paul Lega; Justin Fitterman and Lauren (William) Crowe. Beloved great-grandmother of Gabriel Irvin, Annaliese, Ian, Samantha, Everett Jay and Everette Helena. Beloved cousin of Bernice Brandmeyer. Dear aunt of Carol (Morey) Brooks and Mark Pomeranz. Dearest friends to Kris McCann, Carol and Darwin Novak. Daughter of the late Leah Mollie Mallin and Sally and Seb Worst. Born in Poland and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Evelyn learned her trade in fashion and design from her mother, and went on to work as a buyer in New York until she was married. Evelyn raised her children, first in Kansas City, and then in St. Louis. When her son opened his dental practice, she became her son’s office manager, working there until after her 95th birthday. Her strength and wisdom will be inspiration for her family forever. Graveside service Monday, March 30, 2:00 PM at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road.
