Beloved daughter of the late David and the late Cecile Alton; dear sister of Lawrence J. Alton and the late Gerald M. Alton; special cousin of Skip and Elaine Spielberg, Susan and Alan Flom, Marcia and Lenny Arky and the late Marcia and Norman Selner; dear niece, cousin and friend to many.

Ellen was an Ophthalmic Technician, specializing in Glaucoma treatment and research at Washington University, and also a Social Worker. She loved horses and dogs, especially her beloved Golden Retriever, Stitch, and her canine neighbor, Stewie Goellner.
