Elinor Scharff Eidelman, died December 27, 2011 at age 91. Beloved widow of Jack R. Eidelman, M.D. to whom she was married 61 years; loving mother of David (Rachel) Eidelman, James Eidelman, William (Rita) Eidelman, M.D. and Andrew Eidelman; dear sister of Benjamin (Barbara) Scharff; dear mother-in-law of Linda Langmore; dear grandmother of Brian (Kuenok Lee, M.D.) Eidelman, Amy Eidelman, Lisa Eidelman, Tom (Sarah Mermelstein, M.D.) Eidelman, and Federico Eidelman; dear daughter of the late Selma R. and Aron C. Scharff; dear great grandmother of Charles, Reilly and Amelia “Millie” and of the late Joseph Eidelman; dear aunt of Alan (Julie) Scharff. She attended the Washington University School of Art. She had great passion for the arts, the symphony, the Muny Opera, the St. Louis Zoo, the Missouri Botanical Gardens and the St. Louis Art Museum. Her love and commitment to her family and her great sense of style will be remembered by those she touched. Funeral Service Friday, December 30, 11 a.m. at Temple Emanuel, 12166 Conway Road.
