Eleanor Morein Foster, died July 3, 2014 at age 92. Born April 8, 1922, Eleanor was preceded in death by her late husband Charles H. Foster and is survived by her children, Randy Stephen Goldenhersh, Susan Goldenhersh Nugent and Charles H. Foster, Jr. and by her grandchildren Katherine Winder, Gregory Goldenhersh, Noah Diamond, Ariel Diamond and Joseph Foster. Eleanor was an active member of the community and political and social institutions including the Smithsonian Institution. She loved art collecting and travel with her beloved husband, they were avid, adventuresome travelers to remote places around the globe. Eleanor loved learning and found time to attend Washington University and received her bachelors and masters degrees in her later life. She followed in the footsteps of her beloved mother Anna with her gracious nature as abond for her family, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and her many friends. The funeral service will be held at Rindskopf-Roth Funeral Chapel, 5216 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Paraquad – St. Louis for the hearing impaired or to Washington University.
