Elan “Mutt” Schwartz, 42, of New Orleans, died February 7, 2018.

Beloved husband of Jo Starnes. Loving son of Karen and Mordechai (Moti) Schwartz. Cherished brother of Dr. Jonathan (Suzanne) Schwartz and Rabbi Daniel (Elana) Schwartz. Beloved grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law, adoring uncle of Benjamin, Anna, Lily, Jenna and Avi, nephew and cousin. Very special friend to an amazing group of loving, caring, devoted and supportive friends. Also loved by his four dogs and two cats and many other animals that Elan cherished and cared for.
