Elaine Lindecke, (nee Goldring), passed away on June 19, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of Fred Lindecke for over 65 years; dearest mother of Steven (Elizabeth) Lindecke of Cleveland, OH and Stacy (Snehal) Desai of Pittsburgh, PA; loving grandmother of Owen and Elliott Desai and Ryan, Kyle and Lucy Lindecke; devoted sister of Harlan (Katherine) Goldring of New York, NY and sister-in-law of Robert (Barbara) Lindecke; dear aunt and great-aunt. Daughter of the late Maurice Goldring and the late Rose Goldring.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in English Literature in 1953 from Washington University and she earned an MBA from University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1983. Her extensive professional career revolved around advertising and public relations, both as a writer and as an executive.

She enjoyed reading, creative writing, bridge, “bleeding blue” for the St. Louis Blues, and for many years was a ticket holder at the Indy 500.

Funeral Service Friday, June 24, 12:00pm at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois Rd.  Visitation for Elaine will begin at 11:30am.  Contributions in her memory preferred to the charity of your choice.
