Elaine K. Alexander, died Nov. 14, 2015 at age 67; born in Germany on May 6, 1948, the daughter of Max and Paula Zysling Kempinski, who had been at Auschwitz during the Shoah.  Elaine’s activities within the Jewish community included being a former teacher at Congregation Shaare Emeth Religious School; a volunteer at the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and St. Louis Jewish Film Festival Committee and a former freelance writer for the St. Louis Jewish Light.  Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Noah J. (Leslie) Alexander and Ariel (Jon) Bremen; dear grandmother of William Alexander, Violet Alexander and Lila Bremen; dear sister-in-law of Sara (Bob) Ross and Felicia (Steve) Lembesis; dear aunt and great aunt.  Memorial contributions preferred to Jewish Federation.  Berger Memorial
