We mourn the passing on July 12, 2021 of Edith Sue Werner Price, beloved wife of the late Albert Price for nearly 68 years; daughter of the late Lenore and late Meyer Werner; sister of Alvin Werner; mother of Thomas and Daniel Price; mother-in-law of Kim Heebner Price; grandmother of Emma, Joseph, and Joshua Price.  She was a dear friend and smiling presence to many in Congregation B’nai Amoona, where she was active in Sisterhood, and helped compile their first Cookbook.

She graduated from Washington University in 1948, married a few months later and spent much of the 1950’s raising her two sons.  In the 1960’s and 1970’s she devoted increasing amounts of time to her community, particularly by transcribing books into Braille for students in universities and professional schools.  In the 1980’s and 1990’s, she crisscrossed the globe with her intrepid husband, both to visit their kids and to discover new places.  May her memory be a blessing for all of the many people whose lives she touched.
