Edith Freund Binder, March 3, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Morton A. Binder, MD; dear mother and mother-in-law of Ellen F. Binder, MD, the late John L. (Sue) Binder, Deborah J. (Gaetan Veilleux) Binder and Arthur F. Binder, Psy.D.; dear grandmother of Benjamin and Julia Moskowitz, Emma Binder and Jai Veilleux; dear daughter of the late Arthur J. and the late Margaret Freund; dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Emily (the late Paul) Ullman. Our dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Edie was a life-long St. Louis resident, and a graduate of John Burroughs School (1947), Skidmore College (1951), and the George Warren Brown School of Social Work (1953).  She was devoted to her family, friends and her career as a social worker and psychotherapist. She had great energy, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for tennis, gardening, entertaining, international travel, and numerous cultural and volunteer activities. Her generous spirit and wonderful laugh will be missed.

Memorial service Sunday, March 13th, 12 PM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd. Visitation begins at 11:30 AM. Charitable contributions to the Morton A.
