Edith A. “Eadie” Levy, nee Aftergut, died August 28, 2013 at age 92, in Chicago at her home. She was born on August 6, 1921 in St. Louis, Mo. to her late parents Hyman & Frieda. Beloved widow of Paul Levy and widow of Bob Abrams; loving mother of Larry (Carol) Levy and Mark (Terry) Levy; devoted grandmother of Steve (Jenny), Andy (Trisha), Bobby (Jacque), Ari (Linoy), Hillary (John), Laura (Kenny), Sarah, Paul and Elizabeth (Jake); cherished great-grandmother of 15. She was preceded in death by 7 older siblings. Interment will be held privately for the family. There will be a public memorial service Monday, September 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. to be held at the Spiaggia Private Dining Rooms, 980 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago.
