Dr. Zdenek T. Hruza, March 7, 2017; beloved husband of the late Dr. Judita Hruza; dear father and father-in-law of Dr. Eva (Dr. Mark) Horn and Dr. George J. (Dr. Carrie) Hruza; dear grandfather of David Horn and Audrey Horn, Stephanie Hruza, Paul Hruza, Hope Williams and Rose Williams; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Jaroslav (the late Emilie) Hruza; dear uncle of Milena Filipek.

Dr. Hruza was a medical scientist and pathologist, a professor at Charles University in Prague and New York University. He published many scientific articles and two books on the study of aging.
