Dr. Leora Bella Sachs of Washington, D.C., January 2, 2017. Devoted mother of Rabbi Micah (Aviva) Buck Yael and Claire Aviva Buck; beloved daughter of Juliette Sachs and the late Hersch Leib Sachs; loving sister of Ezekiel Sachs and Dr. Henry (Sheila) Sachs. Also survived by her aunts Violette Falk and Jeannette Lewin; grandchildren, Naftali and Yeshara Reznikov. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, 12 Noon at Boulevard-Riverside Chapel, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY. Interment New Montefiore cemetery, West Babylon, NY. Family will be observing Shiva through Wednesday at the residence of Juliette Sachs in New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DC Central Kitchen, 425 2nd St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.
