Dr. Frederick Sweet, died March 7, 2013. Husband of his beloved wife Dr. Rita Marika Csapo-Sweet; father of Brennan, Sarah, Cassandra and Joshua Sweet; grandfather of Sydney, Rachel, Cal, and Helene; friend to many and colleagues around the world. He was a professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine for nearly 42 years. He conducted scientific research in molecular endocrinology and worked to find new ovarian and breast cancer treatments. In 2010, Sweet was awarded a Fulbright grant to conduct research in Bosnia-Herzegovina, with his wife, for a book on the role medical doctors in genocide.
