With three deep yoga breaths and tremendous grace, Doris Stone Goldman passed from this world on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Alameda, California.
Doris, born May 16, 1922, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Martha and Morris Stone, survived her husband of 48 years, Melvin L. Goldman, M.D. She leaves daughters Peggy Goldman, M.D., Linda Marks, and Robin Lund (predeceased), and son Larry Goldman; along with her sisters Barbara Adler, Anita Reznikoff, and brothers Harold Stone and Jack Stone (predeceased). Doris also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doris was an artist, a pioneer in the computer industry in St. Louis, a mother of four.
As described by a grand-nephew: “Doris was an amazing, lovely, inspiring, warm, talented, generous, doting, intelligent, strong, thoughtful, loving woman.”
The last years of her life were spent in
Alameda, California, under the loving care of her team of care-Angels.
Graveside service Wednesday, February 6th 11:00 AM at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road.
