Doreen Gwosdy, 73, died February 17, 2016 Funeral Services were held on February 18 at Steeles Memorial Chapel in Toronto, Ontario. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Carol Bodenstein, Alana Shapiro, and Elliott and Deborah Gwosdy. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mindy and Arthur Sherman. Proud Bubby of Zack, Josh, Matthew, Madison, Abigail, Molly, Samuel, and Noah. Loving aunt of Shammi, and Rebecca. Doreen was co-founder of the North York Community Hebrew School where she dedicated her life to providing Jewish education to thousands of children in the Toronto area.  She was a long time supported of the Jewish National Fund.
