Donald Kenneth Ross, D. Sc. Died December 4, 2010. Beloved husband of Peggy Grosberg Ross; dear father of Pam (Craig) Toder; dear grandfather of Paige (Stuart) Noel and Spencer Toder; dear brother-in-law of the late Ada (Frank) Friedman and the late Eugene (Honey) Grosberg; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. A special thanks to his special caregivers Teresa Jones and Stella McGee and the dedicated staff of the Gatesworth. Ross was a graduate of Soldan High School, was an Eagle Scout and a US Naval veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a distinguished graduate of the University of Minnesota V 12 Program and MIT where he received his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and from Washington University where he received his Doctorate in Industrial Engineering. Ross was the founder of Ross & Baruzzini, Inc. a global consulting engineering firm and was honored for lifetime achievements in illumination and energy conservation by numerous organizations including Whoʼs Who in America. Funeral service Monday, December 6th 2:00 PM at United Hebrew Temple, 13788 Conway Road at Woodsmill. Visitation Monday 1:30 PM at United Hebrew Temple. Interment Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road.
