Mr. Donald “Don” Kreisman, 77, born and raised in St. Louis MO, retired to Lady Lake, FL, in 1995, passed away on May 10, 2016.  Beloved husband of Jackie (Friedman) Kreisman, dear father and father-in-law of Danny (Linda) Kreisman, Melinda Kreisman, and Brian (Nicole) Kreisman, dear grandfather of Mary (Mike) Woodie, Joshua Kreisman, Ashley (James) Darby, Anna Kreisman and Josiah Kreisman, great grandfather of Cheyenne, Richard, Russell and Caeley Parrish, Brayden and Gabriel Darby, and Colton Woodie. 

 

Don loved working with children.  He taught science classes for 34 years, the last 27 of which were at Parkway Central Junior High/Middle School.  He received the Outstanding Young Educator Award in 1967 and the Pillar of Parkway Award in 1991 and inspired over 10,000 students during his career. 

 

Don was a devoted, faithful, and generous husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His greatest joy was being with his family. 

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Lady Lake, Florida.
