Dolores Ruth Finkelstein Schneider, age 69 of Fort Worth, Texas (formerly St. Louis), passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12 after a very lengthy battle with breast cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Barry Schneider. Her daughter Myla Lind of Atlanta, Ga., son Eric Schneider of Seattle, Wash., son-in-law Gary Lind and grandsons Eli and Coby Lind. She was the daughter of Ted and Fannie Finkelstein of St. Louis.

Dolores was so very loved by her family and friends. She was a very active member of Temple Beth Shalom in Arlington, Texas. She was a breast cancer research advocate, participating in many Komen Race for the Cure events as well as educating and consoling other women with breast cancer.

She will be remembered for her fighting spirit, her positive outlook on life, her love of family and the joy she felt when she gave of herself.

Funeral services were held in Fort Worth.
