David Norman DeWoskin

D. Norman DeWoskin, died October 31, 2010 at the age of 84. Husband of Meryl (nee Nieman); son of the late Nolan and the late Sarah DeWoskin; brother of Elaine (Harold) Glassman; father of Denise DeWoskin, Dale (Patti) DeWoskin, Daryl DeWoskin, Diane (Ken) Berger; grandfather of Mark, Daniel, Ruth, Lane, Jacob, Hannah, Michelle, and Amy; and his first wife, Dr. Joyce DeWoskin. DeWoskin lived in St. Louis all his life, except while in the Navy during WWII, where he attended an elite school for Radar training. Before and after his service, he attended school at Purdue and Washington University, where he graduated with a degree in electrical/mechanical engineering and pursued a career as an engineer working on many St. Louis landmarks including the Gateway Arch, until his retirement. Visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 821 Fairfield Lake Drive, Chesterfield Mo. 63017. Contributions to Barnes Jewish Hospital Cancer Research Fund or a charity of your own choice.
