David Milton Glazer

United States Military Veteran

David Milton Glazer, March 20, 1934 – May 24, 2024

We celebrate the life of David M. Glazer of St. Louis, who passed peacefully at the age of 90.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Myra Weintrub Glazer, daughters Sharon Macey (Bill,) Juli Jacobs (Keith) and Stephanie Gray Adler (the late Clifford Gray). David was the cherished grandpa, papa and poppi to Max, Morgan and Meredith Macey, Taylor Jacobs Teichman (Jake), Noah and Chelsey Jacobs and Carly Gray Adler and Isabelle Adler. David was the son of the late Ann and the late Herman Glazer, the dear brother of the late Alice Hoffman and dear brother-in-law of the late Arnold Weintrub (the late Paula) and Susan Kutner (Alvin). He was the special uncle of Ellen and Steve Katz, Mark and Linda Weintrub, Caryn and Jim Herman and Andy Kutner and our dear great-uncle, cousin, and friend.

David served in the Korean War and was thrilled to be recognized for his service with the Honor Flight years later.  He graduated from Drake University, where he met his future bride outside of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority house. They married in 1957.  He spent many years as a manufacturer’s representative for women’s clothing lines before entering the insurance industry.

David was a devoted St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan and loved to fish. He adored skiing with his children and grandchildren. Above all else, David was a family man who loved home cooked meals, family vacations and connecting with his children and grandchildren on his numerous “checking in” calls.
