David Bosse

David Bosse, died August 25, 2012 at age 68 in Paradise Valley, Arizona. He was 68 years old. David is survived by a large family including his wife of 24 years, Sue Bosse, his son Jimmy Bosse and his wife Lisa, his grandchildren, Max and Maya Bosse, his son Doug Bosse and his wife Laurie, his grandchildren Luke and Leah Bosse, his stepson David Corley and his wife Julie and grandchildren, Madelyn and Ethan Corley, his stepson Drew Corley, his stepdaughter Michelle Wing and her husband Rich and grandchildren Kate and Jack Wing. He is also survived by his sister in law Selma (the late Sherwin) Bosse and nephews Jon (Lili), Steven (Ifaat) and Michael Bosse. David was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and graduated from University City High School. He graduated with a B.A. and a B.S. from the University of Missouri in 1966. He served in the Air Force Reserves for six years during the Vietnam War. David graduated from law school at Memphis State University College of Law in 1970 and began his long and illustrious career as a tax attorney, first with the IRS, and then in private practice in Phoenix. After working at several firms in Phoenix, including Snell and Wilmer, he was a partner at Ryan, Rapp and Underwood for the last 20 years and loved the practice of law. He continued going to the office nearly every day until just a few weeks before his death. David was active in the Tax sections of the American Bar Association as well as the State Bar of Arizona throughout his career. He was also a member of the Missouri Bar. He was a noted speaker and active in the local legal community. He traveled extensively throughout his career and appeared in many federal court rooms on behalf of his clients across the country as well as internationally. After the practice of law, David’s greatest passion was his boat and everything related to it. He spent much of his free time with friends and family on his boat in San Diego. A funeral service will be held on August 29th at Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 1601 North & South Road at 11:30 AM.
