Beloved husband of the late Carol Wolf. Dear father and father-in-law of Jeff (Vivi) Wolf, Greg (Diane) Wolf, Tim Wolf, Mary Jo (Lou) Harkenrider, Joshua Wolf, Shoshanah (Damien) Conover, Becky and the late Tony Wolf. Loving grandfather of Neill, Stephen, Travis, Riley, Aaron, Andrew, Felicity, Amanda (Josh), Jacob, Eli and Benjamin; and adoring great-grandfather of Kayla, Katelyn, Megan, Wayne, and Jolene. Dear brother of Beverly, Joe, Connie, and Tom, all of blessed memory; and brother-in-law to the late Jim Rabida, Denise Wolf, the late Sonny Kluth, and the late Margie Wolf.

Dale was an eternal optimist and the epitome of the Jewish value of Hakarat Hatov, ever “seeking out the good.” A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Dale treasured each moment with his family, and passed away merely an hour after his beloved wife’s shiva candle gave its last light. He was an avid nature enthusiast, athlete, and gourmand. As a passionate learner and self-motivated student, his patient and bright outlook made him a tremendous listener and sage counsel. Like his late wife, his instruction and his example will continue to ripple through the lives of those he touched, for generations to come.

Funeral service Friday, December 29, 11:00 AM at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road with interment to follow at Beth Shalom Cemetery, 650 White Road. No visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Congregation Shaare Emeth.
