Charlotte Alter Loebl

Charlotte Alter Loebl, died January 27, 2012 in Florida. She would have been 100 years old on May 9, 2012. She and her late husband, Robert, were born and raised in Vienna, Austria. Many Holocaust survival stories were shared with her family. She and Robert raised their three children, Suzanne Herrmann, Dr. Andrew (Zoya) Loebl, and Dr. Stephen (Judy) Loebl in St. Louis, Mo. Charlotte and Robert wanted to live in the middle of the United States hoping it would take Hitler longer to get there. They eventually retired in Florida. Her youngest sibling, Robert, predeceased her. Charlotte is survived by her children, grandchildren Kim (Mark) Hyman, Bob (Cynthia) Loebl, Charli (Uel) Nesbitt, Bryan (Laura) Loebl, Haley ( John) Garcia, Lorie ( Dr. Clinton) Malone, Megan Loebl, 14 great grandchildren, and her 97 year old sister Cornelie Splitter. She will be dearly missed.
