Carole Kaye Ballard

Carole Kaye Ballard, 75, passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2021, with family by her side.

Carole is survived by her husband, Charles Ballard, her daughters, Heather (Nicholas Holekamp) Raznick and Andrea (Mike) Ward, her grandchildren Naomi, Goldie, Mia, and Mason. Carole also leaves behind her brother Jerry (Jill) Price and her “sister in spirit”, Julie Holekamp. She will also be fondly remembered by her 6 stepchildren and their loving families. Carole also had many special friends, cousins, nieces, and step-grandchildren.

Carole was born on December 14th, 1945, to the late Harry and Goldye (nee Kusmer) Price. A life-long St. Louis, Missouri, native, she graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School and attended Washington University. She had a long and successful career in real-estate management.

Known to many as Mama C, she treated each person she met with compassion offering an endless supply of warmth, enthusiasm, and support. She was strong-willed, sassy and loved life. She fiercely battled her illness for years, surviving and thriving longer than anyone predicted. No one could turn lemons into lemon-tinis like Carole. We will all miss her love, guidance, positive attitude, and loyalty. Her bright light will live on.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in St. Louis Missouri.
