Beloved wife of the late Lester J. Nathan, MD; dear mother and mother-in-law of Mindy Nathan and Charles R. (Bridget) Nathan, MD; dear grandmother of Spencer and Jonathon Nathan; dear sister of Alan Kaplan (Bunne Weinhaus); dear daughter of the late Dorothy and Harry Kaplan; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Bobbi was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and Lester loved to travel. She was an avid reader and consumer of current events. Bobbi had a big personality and a loud laugh. She was a fun Nanny and enjoyed lunching and playing games with her grandchildren.
Bobbi graduated from Washington University in 1958 with a degree in Sociology and Archeology and also minored in French. She completed her Master of Social Work at St. Louis University in 1975. She was a psychotherapist at the Marriage and Family Institute in Clayton and eventually became the owner and director where she practiced for many years. She was very active in the Jewish community and held numerous leadership positions at the Jewish Federation. More recently, she was a docent at the St. Louis Holocaust Museum.
Graveside service Sunday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road.
