Beverly May Rifkin Gruber

Beverly May Rifkin Gruber, 71, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 following a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.
She survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Kviatkovsky (Rami), Judi Gruber, her step-son Mark Gruber, her nieces Alisa Steinhauer and Dana Fausner (Mark), her nephew Lee Steinhauer (Bettina), her grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Kviatkovsky, Shane and Riley Fausner, Lili Mandler, Max and Ryan Stienhauer.
Born and raised St. Louis, Missouri, Beverly attended University City High school and graduated in 1963. Beverly then moved to Los Angeles and perused her bachelor’s degree in teaching and education at Cal State Northridge. She worked as a teacher in the Los Angeles School district for almost 40 years.
After her retirement, Beverly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved travelling, movies, her dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a friend to many and will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 13, 2017 at Groman Eden Mortuary, in Mission Hills California at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Valley Outreach Synagogue or the American Cancer Society in Beverly’s honor.
