BETTY KRANTMAN (nee Weintraub) passed away October 29 at age 94 at Parc Provence. Beloved wife of the late Julius Krantman, dear mother of Susan (Dr. Michael) Friedman of Chicago, Dr. Herbert (Rochel) Krantman of Israel, and Stanley Krantman of St. Louis. Grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Sister of Dena Rubanowitz Class, Eva Bremler, Bernice Goldstein, Frances Weintraub, Jake Weintraub and Sam Weintraub, all of blessed memory. She is survived by sister Gertrude Ziglin. Raised in St. Louis from age 3, she lived 20 of her married years in Marshalltown, Iowa before returning to St. Louis with her husband who was Vice President of Navy Brand, Inc. Mrs. Krantman was one of the original founders of the Young Israel of St. Louis and gave of her time and monies to Epstein Hebrew Academy which her husband served as President in the 1970s. Burial was in Israel. Contributions may be made to Epstein Hebrew Academy.
