Her most devoted friends, Lois Marshall, Patricia Bry, Jane Eiseman, Joy Dunkelman, Kit Samuels, Rita Levis and Edna Rosenheim appreciated her vigor and warmth. Her adventurous travels to the African savannas, tropical rivers, Rocky Mountain trails, and oceanic voyages fed her zest for new people, places, animals, and nature.
